Canoeing The Danube Delta

The delta of the second largest river delta in Europe (after the Volga Delta) is the best preserved on the continent. It is a real thrill to slide through it’s lagoons with your canoe, together with the guide, who takes care of your comfort and safety, while you enjoy the native birds, aquatic creatures and the quiet nature itself on this 5-day long trip.
General information about the Danube Delta:

  • 2733 km² of its surface is protected area, classified as a reservation of the biosphere.
  • It has more than 360 species of birds and 45 species of freshwater fish.
  • The vegetation is represented mainly by a vegetation specific of swamps and occupies 78% of the overall surface.
  • It is the home of various species of protected animals.

Proposed activities: We will deploy everyday with canoes, with the purpose to discover the most beautiful corners of the Danube Delta. We will be sleeping in tents, and those who wish can sleep outdoors, under the sky.

Medium physical condition needed.
3 nights out of 5, we will sleep in tents.
2 nights out of 5, we will sleep in a B&B.
2 days no toilet and shower amenities (not on consecutive days).

The trip price is 349 pounds/person, which includes: 2 nights accommodation in Bed and Breakfasts; camping equipment; 3 meals per day for the entire length of the trip; the services of 2 guides; transport from and to the airport; canoes, buoyancy aids and paddles; accident insurance for the length of the trip.

The groups will have a maximum of 8 participants.
